How to cancel a service
How to cancel
- In the Client Area: open the service you want to cancel and choose the cancel option; or
- By email: write to
support@afterwavetechs.co.zafrom the email address on your account. Give your name, the service or domain, and an invoice number if you have one.
We confirm every cancellation in writing.
When does it take effect?
- To avoid being invoiced for the next cycle, cancel before the next due date.
- If a renewal invoice has been issued but not yet paid when you cancel, we cancel that invoice.
- The service continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, unless the cooling-off rules apply. See Refunds and the 7-day cooling-off period.
- Cancelling hosting does not cancel your domain, and cancelling a domain does not cancel hosting. Tell us what you want cancelled.
Important
Back up first. We may delete your hosting account and its data 30 days after the service ends. Download your files, databases and email before you cancel. See How to back up your website.
