How to change an email password in cPanel
- Log in to cPanel. See How to log in to cPanel.
- Click Email Accounts.
- Find the mailbox and click Manage.
- Type a new password (or use Generate) and click Update Email Settings.
Important
After changing the password, update it on every phone, tablet and computer that uses the mailbox. Devices that still have the old password can lock the mailbox after too many failed attempts.
