What happens if an invoice is overdue

AccountsLast updated October 2026

If a payment is late we do not act immediately. This is the usual timeline for hosting, email and similar services:

WhenWhat happens
Before the due dateWe send your invoice and a reminder.
After the due dateWe send overdue reminders to your account email.
7 days after the due dateWe may suspend the service. Your website and email stop working.
30 days after suspensionWe may terminate the service and permanently delete the hosting account, website files, databases and mailboxes.

Get your service back

Pay all overdue amounts and tell us at support@afterwavetechs.co.za with your proof of payment. If the data has not yet been deleted, the service is restored. See How to pay an invoice by EFT.

Domains

Domains that are not renewed expire under the registry’s rules and can be lost. See How domain renewals and expiry work.

Tip
Having trouble paying on time? Talk to us before the due date. It is much easier to sort out early.

The full rules are in section 7 of our Terms & Conditions.
