How to search for and register a domain name

1. Go to the domain search on our website.
2. Type the name you want (without the extension) and choose the extensions you are interested in, such as .co.za or .com.
3. Click Check Now. Available names show their price per year.
4. Choose your domain and, if you want hosting, a plan, and complete the order.

Things to know

• Domains are paid for once a year. We send renewal reminders, but renewing on time is your responsibility. See How domain renewals and expiry work.
• You are the registered owner (registrant) of the domain, so use accurate contact details.
• Domain registration fees are paid to the registry when the domain is registered, so they cannot be refunded once processed. Details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• After registering, point your domain to your hosting if it is not already set up for you.
